Your Role:
We are looking for a certified Product Owner with 7+ years of experience to provide stakeholders, and scrum team with product vision. You will be responsible for global projects outcome and to ensure that the scrum team is delivering the most value for customers.
You will be expected to be successful in implementation that satisfies or exceeds expected customer value. You will be responsible for ensuring each member of scrum team is knowledgeable of the product.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Clarification & Requirement Gathering
- Requirement gathering and collaboration with the stakeholders
- Documenting gathered requirements
- In collaboration with stakeholders defining product goals, product roadmap, and release plans
- To ensure team accountability for understanding requirements.
Managing the scrum backlog
- Responsible for the backlog that the development team pulls to deliver from.
- Ensuring that the backlog is transparent, visible, and understood by all Scrum team members.
- Entering requirements into a tracking system i.e. CLICKUP
Setting Priority
- Responsible for backlog grooming, setting priority and order of things.
- Prioritizing and owning the product backlog using agile themes.
Acceptance Criteria – Precise user stories.
- Based on requirements, acceptance criteria are to be written by the PO.
Stakeholder Management
- PO is accountable for product KPIs and reporting on development progress to stakeholders.
- Comprehending business, customer priorities, new feature request, enhancements and play a key role in driving those outcomes with customer first solutions approach.
- Providing product training, performing user testing and knowledge transfer to customers for viable use of the application.
- Tracking project milestones, conflicting timelines and deliverables for collaborating roadmaps to achieve business outcomes and maintain relationships with diverse group of customers and cross-functional stakeholders.
Project/Task reviews
- Ensure eye for detail (Grammatical, presentation issues, etc.) in task and project reviews
- Participation in sprint review meetings and sprint planning.
- Ensuring minutes of meetings are sent to all the stakeholders and concerned employees
- Complete requirements: Reviewing and ensuring that client expectations are met by doing internal UAT’s of the stories
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of agile and scrum methodologies
- 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Must be comfortable to commute to office location
Essential Skills Required
- Certified Product Owner
- Willing to work & lead independently
- Good communication, interpersonal, leadership, critical thinking & decision making skills
- A plus if you have experience is SAAS
- Solid experience in Scrum backlog, release and stakeholders management.
